A series of six polaroid emulsion lifts from photographs taken along the beaches of Tybee and Little Tybee Island, Georgia. These images depict areas of the islands that are affected by coastal erosion, which takes a toll on natural and manmade structures alike. The emulsion is transferred by water onto watercolor paper, then framed in unfinished wood frames vulnerable to wear over time. The photographs, process and final presentation of this project mirror a process of inevitable change caused by the elements.
